Coles\u2019 hot cross bun range is available in store and online from today, priced at $4.50 a pack or two packs for $8.00, with a 20-cent donation to Redkite from today until Thursday 1 January 2026.<\/p>\n
Over the past decade, Coles customers and team members have raised more than $55 million for Redkite, providing vital support to families navigating childhood cancer \u2013 like 9-year-old Dakoda\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Dakoda was just days from her fourth birthday when she was diagnosed with\u00a0Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia \u2013 a fast-growing blood and bone marrow cancer. After years of intensive treatment and hospital stays, she\u2019s now in remission and living a normal childhood with ongoing maintenance to keep her healthy.<\/p>\n
Dakoda\u2019s mum Michelle said Redkite\u2019s support was invaluable during their most difficult moments, offering financial support, emotional guidance and practical help.<\/p>\n
“As a nurse, I thought I was prepared for anything, but nothing prepares you for your own child\u2019s cancer diagnosis and Redkite has been a constant support, letting us focus on Dakoda\u2019s health without worrying about everything else,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
